Boating and Swimming

  • Sunrise Park - Purchased by the townspeople from the estate of Edward M. White. Dedicated July 2, 1966. The name was suggested by Mrs. Karl Kulle because of Easter Sunday Services held there annually at sunrise. Open daily from 8:00 am to dusk for Suffield residents and their guests (free town stickers required, visit superintendant living on-site) boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking, playground, hiking trails, summer day camp, horseshoes, ice-fishing, and cross-country skiing are all available.   • Lake Congamond - Open to the public for swimming and boating, this lake is maintained by both the Town of Suffield and Town of Southwick. There is a $5 boat launch fee from either ramp.
