Suffield man charged with pretending to sell kittens, puppies in Craigslist scam

HARTFORD — A Suffield man was accused Monday of pulling off a Craigslist scam where he pretended to sell puppies and kittens in the Groton Street area of the city, Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley said.


The man, Quincy Wilson, 21, of 188 Halladay Ave. East, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and attempted sixth-degree larceny. Wilson was released on a $150 bond and was to be arraigned in Hartford Superior Court today.
